Change

What is change? Change is to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of something different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone. Change happens to every single one of us at one point or another. There are small changes that happen all the time, and there are larger changes that happen less often.

Change... is a scary thing to people. As humans, we have a natural instinct to be afraid of change, we're creatures of habit. It's not even different for us Christians, we who have had the largest most life altering change anyone could experience. When we experience change, we need to remember God is on our side... I need to remember God is on my side. With God for us, who can be against us? (Rom. 8:31)

I'm going through changes in my life right now. I'm 16 years old, losing interest in gaming (which has been my entire life's hobby), I'm nearing the end of high school, I just got my learner's permit, and I applied for a job just yesterday. College is in a few years and I'll be in a relationship fairly soon, God willing. I'm growing up. All your life you think about these things, always like they're an impossibility and way ahead in the future. Then it sneaks up on you and gets the critical hit; you're standing there stunned.

What am I requesting prayer for? I need prayers for strength, courage, wisdom, patience, the whole deal. Life has arrived and it's beginning to show me how real it actually is.
