How is God working in my life...

My family and I have been going through a lot these past 4-5 years. A sibling decided to rebel against God in worldly ways. I loved him very much but his selfishness was more important than me. He's back in my life, but not on the right track, God has given me great strength to get through his rebellion. God has given me strength to be a witness now to him. When he was hurting me, my grandfather died suddenly. It was so sorrowful for my heart. However, just when I felt that I could overcome sadness , more trials and sorrow hit me like waves of the ocean. I could barely breath, start to see the sun," Bam", there was another big family crisis.
When my trials seemed to never end, I would try to remember that God would not let me bare more than I could handle. He would show me a way through. He would not let me drown. God gave me the strength to walk on. I know that I am a child of God. I have my whole life ahead of me. I have withstood many trials. I will grow stronger and become wiser because of God's grace. I love the Lord with all my heart. I have been given the fruit of the holy spirit. His strength will always be there. :D

I'm praying too, My older Sister is a rebel so I know how you feel. Yes God gives strength to his Chosen, I'll never forget that and I hope that you won't either... Stay Strong!
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
