Apparently, because they are coming out with a new expansion, ArenaNet is making the core game of Guild Wars 2 free to play. All you need is an account and a machine capable of handling the specs. You can read more about the game right here.

It's fun, i just don't have time for MMO's these days

I was like: "Hey, sweet! I've wanted to try GW2 for years. Lemme check the specs...hmm...it'll be close...I might could turn all the settings to-- HOLY 25 GIGABYTE DOWNLOAD BATMAN".
That's like...a week on my speed. If I can pause the download and get a solid time slot. @_@
