My husband was hit today while waiting behind a school bus and a semi truck, he was stuck by an SUV going between 20-30 mph upon impact. He's sore today which means he'll probably really be feeling it tomorrow and for the next few days. Please pray for healing on his part and guide us on the outcome and possible replacement of his car.

Yikes! Glad Jay made it out okay. Keep a close eye on him the next few days, sometimes injuries from this kind of thing can take time to show themselves.
A vegan atheist walks into a bar. Bartender says "Hey, are you a vegan atheist? Just kidding, you've mentioned it like eight times already."

Yeah, definitely hoping nothing bad surfaces up for Jason.
That being said, it's great it's not worse, considering how small the Fiesta is compared to the SUV.
Do you know if you guys have Gap coverage on the car? It looks new-newish, so I'm considering you were still making payments.

It was a 2011 Fiesta that was paid off, if it's totaled I am hoping we get a decent amount for it. The other guy was driving a BMW so I am assuming he's well covered....

I could tell from the way the rear tire was sitting that the rear end was badly warped. I'm praying for a decent enough settlement that you will be able to replace the vehicle without having to dig too deep or downgrade. More than the blessing on the car, I am praying for health and renewal for your husband! God Bless!

I agree. I was in a minor car accident a couple years ago. I checked out fine then a couple weeks later, internal bleeding showed up forcing a blood transfusion.Bruce_Campbell wrote:Yikes! Prayers for your husband.

Jay saw a doctor today and is presribing him some muscle relaxers to help with the back/neck pain.
The settlement amount is $9600 kelly blue book is 9100. Jay is checking out a private sale on Saturday, we'll see how it goes! Thanks for the prayers.
