Sounds pretty neat as some game music can get tiresome after awhile, (not a lot of games, but there are a few.)
now what would really take the cake is if this music player can cut out the game's music while keeping the sound effects.
(I suppose you can just go to the game options to do that yourself, but still... XD)

Not gonna lie. Unless a game's music is pretty danged good, I'm not paying attention to it. If other music is gonna enter the mix, I set the game music to 0 :P

This could be amazing, depending on the game.

But...I'ma probably forget about it. XD

Edit: 'K, so I tried it. At first I was like "meh".

But then, after scouting a planet with Theocracy in the background, I was like "BY JOVES THIS DISCOVERY IS THE GREATEST DAY."

At the same time...it's really no different from running a game with Windows Media player in the background. Though it does save me some CPU juice. No complaints.

Well, one complaint. I can't seem to change the music easily from within the game. I'll figure it out though.

Yeah, I bet it will improve throughout the beta.

This will be quite handy with games that don't like being minimized,
not to mention this should also work with non-steam games to if you do the "add non-steam game to library" thingy.
Mechwarrior online is kinda lacking in the music department currently, so I think I will have to give this a try.

One a side note, I have a sudden urge to play Torchlight with Mumbo Mountain from Banjo Kazooie playing. XD

I kind of love you. (In a brotherly way, of course). :P

It's an interesting feature. I like it so far, but I wish it had more integration with games. I know Star Trek Online has built-in integration with WMP and iTunes, I wish more games did that...

It'd be nice if there were some sort of pop up that actually told what song was playing. But that's just sheen.

I did figure out that you have to build a "queue" in order to have more than one album playing without alt+tab'ing the game. That's sort of clunky to me.
