Consider this: With all the built in tracking and notification software, there's a good bet M$ knows exactly how stupid people actually are. O_o

Also consider that this mayhaps be a prideful move. Even though the first gen X360 was nearly guaranteed to break within a few months of owning it, stores still had trouble keeping them on the shelves. Maybe Microsoft thought this gen was going to be the same?

I'd call it insulting.
