Greetings,

Please pray for me today and for the rest of the week. I'm currently dealing with a lot. Today will be a big day. Only, I can't talk about it. So I ask that members just keep me in their thoughts today and throughout the rest of the week.

Thank you,
Ed

Be part of the answer, not part of the problem.

I'll be praying!

I also have a couple of prayer requests. Three of my friends, Sam, Ty and Jup are all unbelievers, and two are extreme atheists. I'd appreciate it if you would pray for their salvation; that God would open their hearts to the truth, show them their own sin and lead them to Himself. Please also pray for me, the God would give me words to speak to them.

Thanks all,
Servant of the King

Thank you for the prayers. I'm doing better but a lot on my mind. I'm in constant prayer. Interestingly enough, WoW 2013 has so many inspirational songs that it's all I've been listening to the past couple weeks to help keep me positive. I'm headed out of town this weekend for a much needed break. I wish I could say more but I can't.

Praying for you and your 3 friends as well Servant.

Well here's an update. The situation was resolved on Tuesday. But I only had about 45 minutes to enjoy it. I received a phone call from the hospital who is doing my foot surgery. The plastic surgeon is unavailable on May 15 so my surgery is postponed. This really upset me and I left work early then stayed home from work yesterday.

This has been a long journey dating back to late July of last year. Tuesday was the day I actually questioned God. It's like I was happy then I wasn't. I spent yesterday reflecting though. I'm good now and waiting for the new surgery date. I'm thinking it may be at least 2 months or more away though. In the meantime, I deal with pain every day with no pain medication. I'm keeping positive thanking God daily.

BTW, the original prayer request had nothing to do with my foot problems.

Lord, help him with whatever his problem may be. In Jesus's Name, Amen.

I wrote a new blog post on how I dealt with last Tuesday and Wednesday. It is Biblical and was inspired by the song, He Said by the Group 1 Crew.

Feel free to read it at:
