I voted No, as an avid and almost exclusive PC gamer.
I voted No for the anime forum on the counts that any anime thread could fit neatly inside the current media threads and it breaks the categorization of current topics. The same goes for this PC forum; the PC games fit neatly inside the current genres. A new PC forum detracts from what currently exists (many of which barely get attention as is), adds unnecessary confusion and clutter, and doesn't bring anything new to the table.
I appreciate the "boost" for PC games, but in this case, there isn't sufficient reason for a PC gaming forum.
If you disagree with me, I'd like to hear the reasons.

I'm more for uniting gamers and many of the games are cross platform

So I voted, and then read comments.
Sounded good to me. But what do I know.

Personally, I don't really care. I just thought it was a good suggestion. I was actually kind of expecting something like that.ArchAngel wrote:I voted No, as an avid and almost exclusive PC gamer.

At first I was like "YES!" but then I realized that the sub-forums aren't separated by system but game genre. Thus, if you have a PC sub-forum then people might want a "Nintendo, Sony, Xbox etc" sub-forum.

As was mentioned, many games are available on multiple platforms. Seems like it'd be counterproductive to split discussion on any given game across multiple sub sections when there typically isn't enough difference from one platform to the next to justify it.
