okay I would recommend either wordpress to keep it simple or getting the hang of joomla . CCG runs joomla for it's reviews. phpBB is powering the forum.

If you need any help with designing your website, I'm up for creating a simple logo and buttons for the website. Not really into web design, but I have a lot of experience using photoshop.

I have Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash, InDesign, Illustrator, and Fireworks. Some I can use, some I'm learning. And some I have no idea how to use. I gotta step it up. Seems like I wanna do all these things, but finishing and getting it done is a problem. It stinks.

*sigh* Okay, gotta keep moving.

I did something vaguely similar to this five years ago. It was called Fantasy Forum. It stunk. It stunk bad.

You clearly know your stuff far more than I did/do, but definitely take Arch and Cheryl's advice to heart. Managing a homebrew website is tedious and monotonous and when there's minimal to no traffic it seems pointless. A blog is an excellent place to start, if you can manage it. You could even mess around on Tumblr, where you can edit HTML and all sorts of junk to customize your page. It enables you to learn the ropes while still having a strong foundation and providing you with followers, which is always a plus. Or, as Cheryl said, you could do what I did and mess around with phpBB if you really want a forum. I'm not familiar with Wordpress, but from what I've seen of it, that's a good option, too.

The point is, you don't want to get carried away with yourself. Believe me, I'm familiar with that problem. I'm studying film and it's impossibly hard to not let your mind exceed your capabilities and budget. I have to constantly remind myself that limitations are okay, I just have to take it one step at a time with minimal expectations. Definitely try your hand at making a website, you look like you're capable of it, but don't pressure yourself to make it grand or popular or whatever such else. God's not expecting that and nobody else is. The fact is that people probably WON'T use it, just as much as people probably won't see my dinky films as I start out in the business. The point is that you're learning and focusing and developing. That's a good thing, and there's no shame in starting small. Just know that if your vision exceeds your means, you'll find yourself quitting before you ever reach the goal.

So... take that as you will.

Thanks, man :)

Okay, here's what I'll do:

I'm gonna work on the site when I can. In the meantime, can someone make Christian comics or something? And CCGR, it would be cool if Break Out the Bible could be on it. So if I can get the site working, up and running could you send it to me?
