A little question about making Minecraft texture packs...

Great for talking hardware, hype, and games outside traditional genres.

You see,
I want to make some Minecraft texture packs based on other games,
and I would most likely post them on Planet Minecraft.
Though, if the gamemakers found the texture pack and don't like having a Minecraft texture pack that looks like one of there games.
Would that get me into some kind of trouble, or will they just have texture pack removed.

I know there are already lots of texture packs based on games,
but I just want to make sure it's ok.

I'm sure they'd be honored but if they took offense I think they would contact and ask to have it removed

I was thinking of...
Megaman Battle Network, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Kirby, Myst, Metroid Prime, and some kind of Mario and Legend of Zelda texture pack that has not already been done. XD

I don't think Nintendo would really mind,
though, I am not sure about Capcom, and I also wonder about the makers of Myst.

I pretty sure most companies are okay with that, and they'll just remove it if it's not okay with them. Most companies don't just go around suing people. Because for some reason , it tends to be bad for business.

lol

I think it will be fine. They would contact you before they got you in trouble. And, even if they didn't like you sharing it with other people, you could still use it yourself. :)
