Hi guys,

I've been a reader here for a while, but this is my first post. I just submitted a game I've been working on for the past month, called Labyrinth of Zarus, to the Pokki HTML 5 game contest. I'm in the running to win a laptop and potentially more prizes, so I'm hoping you guys can try out my game and let me know what you think.

Labyrinth of Zarus is a retro-themed adventure/dungeon crawler video game. You play as a treasure hunter searching for the lost treasures inside the labyrinth. Collect treasure, explore levels and fend off enemies with your whip. Each level is randomly generated.

Thanks in advance for your feedback and God bless!

Cute game. :) The Pokki interface is annoying and I uninstalled it.

Nicely done!

I played up to the tenth room (I faced a Spider boss) and died very quickly. I think the difficulty is a bit too high early on in the game. Maybe you could bring in a mechanic where the more monsters you kill the more powerful your whip becomes. This would also be a good way to bring in more monsters for each room.

Other than that, the game is great. I really enjoyed it. :)
