Came close in Banjo Kazooie...
Banjo Kazooie...great game, man, now you're making me feel old!
One is as old as they feel, which may explain why I keep looking for a nap!
If you truly want to hear about an OLD game, I'm in the process of trying to beat Metal Marines. (NES)
Sadly my finances only allows me to buy old used games in flea markets and such so MY games are in fact quite old, but I'm ok with that.
Toren. It's a short game, similar to Ikko in that it's a strange, atmospheric puzzle game. It was very short, but I encourage any who are interested to give it a try. It has some strange mythology to it, but the ambiance around the world they've created is exotic and beautiful.
This is actually an old game for me but I was never able to beat it.
The main reason was that my GameCube didn't have a memory card.
When I did find one I decided to play this game again.
I really liked the story especially how they made each chapter a completely different theme.
I thought the game was really well designed. I thought it was interesting having the battles on a stage and how you were able to use the audience to your advantage. This game has a little bit of everything.
My only complaint is that it can become a little frustrating when I'm xp farming.
The last game I beat... I guess the closest thing to beating a game I've had recently would be Halo 5. Not my favorite Halo game, but honestly my favorite part about any Halo was having people to play it with. I don't have the people to play it with anymore, unfortunately.
