I used to watch that show. But now it's just not my thing anymore. Trying to be careful with what I watch. Ooooooyyyyyy........so hard to find good anime.

It's actually been really clean so far.. o_o

 My first anime. I got into the manga first through a friend, but it took me forever to find every single issue.

Luv it.

Cool. Yeah I don't wanna take the time to find all the issues so I'm just sticking with the show. Ryuk and his apples are the best.

nah its not THAT hard to find good anime, just need to be REAL lucky lol

Kids On the Slope. Is one about jazz! but its a bit of a drama/romance somewhat.

You and Me, (and) You and Me 2. Is about 5 guys that have been friends since kindergarten. Its funny, from what I remember Its completely clean except episode 8 in You and Me 2 (name: us boys)

Giant Killing. is awesome! its about soccer. the animation is real good, but the style you need to get used to.

Big Windup, is about Baseball. the main guy is a pitcher that can throw the ball anywere, perfectly, everytime. But the only one who realizes is the catcher, who is very strategic. I haven't seen the whole thing so sorry in there is anything bad in it.

if you want more titles just ask.

I've seen a bit of Gun X Sword. It's okay for the most part, though there are still some things I don't like about it.

Started watching Bleach. Really digging it so far. I just finished the 5th episode.

This is possibly the only anime that can make me laugh, get excited and get chills down my spine all at the same time. Some of the hollows are terrifying.

It reminds me of the first time I started watching Death Note and saw Ryuk. :shifty:

The story takes some interesting turns...in the 230's now and on a side story where the Soul Reaper's lose their bonkai's (sp?)

There's an anime forum poll up over here. Vote there if you think anime should get its own subsection under "Arts and Entertainment." Or if it shouldn't. Just vote!

If its the one im thinking of, don't wast your time on it. Even if you like horror.
Spoiler:
tuns of kids die in very VERY painfull ways and the ending is just terrible.

I finished Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne recently. It... was... messed... up...

The kids do not get to watch it. Ever. I think the core idea is brilliant, and a plot twist that leads to the show taking an entire different direction was great.

But then there the sex. Holy good gosh there's tons of it. Lesbian stuff mostly. There's an in-setting reason for this... but man.

I'm glad I watched it, I think there's a lot here to like, but there's also a lot here that will turn any sensible person off.

Now I'm watching Total Eclipse and Bodacious Space Pirates on Crunchyroll.

I finished it. And I loved it. No time wasted at all.
Spoiler:
First of all, it's tons, painful, and waste. :P

Secondly, I actually thought the ending was fitting for the series. Why does everything have to have a happy-go-lucky ending?

As for the killing, yes it was a bit excessive. But at the same time, it fit with the story. The whole point was that the class was cursed, and gruesome deaths (Which aren't even that bad; try Gantz on for size...) make it seem more "real". I say real, because I'm pretty sure the writers wanted to convey the fact that this class is cursed. A series of random, seemingly natural deaths doesn't give that impression. Having a woman get crushed by an elevator, a girl get impaled by her umbrella, and a teacher kill himself in front of his class isn't supposed to be "Normal" or "Painless". It's supposed to be absolutely horrifying. And it was. The point was made earlier in the series that the kids are terrified of this curse. And the gruesomeness is meant to give the viewer that same feeling.

A bit over the top? Perhaps. Horrifying? Indeed. Violence and gore does not automatically make something bad. If the storyteller uses it to benefit the story or the immersion, then I consider a reasonable amount to be acceptable (Please note: I consider Gantz to be an example of over-the-top. I stopped watching it partway through because I couldn't take it anymore). If the violence and gore satisfies nothing but pure shock value, then I consider that to be an abuse of the subject matter. Another is not an abuse of this. Gantz is.
Sorry for that mini-rant...I don't recommend reading unless you have no desire to see Another or have already seen it.

But now that I finished Another, I'm planning to start Chaos;Head and then Steins;Gate. I've heard that they both are right up my alley from friends who have seen them.
