Am I the one who think it'd be incredible frusterating?
I'd just be sitting in the room, screaming the same chant over and over trying to get it right while a dragon bites my character in half.
Or the in laws will look at me very funny.

Or perhaps high fives all around because I'm the dragonborn.

I don't really consider the kinect a reliable accessory in the first place, mostly because it is really only suited for big living rooms and master bedrooms... When they make a kinect suited for small areas, I will likely be the first in line to buy one.

And it would never have worked. I am displeased to present ....

This...

The guy couldn't even calibrate the kinect when the attachment was used. As I've said, when they make a better version of the kinect that can work in smaller spaces, I will be first in line to buy one.

You can't count IGN for anything, and I've seen two video demonstrations of the product NOT working as well as it should have. Amazon reviewers have given it 2 1/2 stars with 229 reviews. I may not trust IGN, but I sure do count customer reviews!

That score is just an average of extremes, some people love it, and others hate it. Does it actually work? I have no idea (no way I'm paying $150), but if someone who rents an apartment wants to get a Kinect, this isn't a bad option.
