Though I live in space, I see the earth.
I see the problems, and the pain, and I know it's getting worse.
But I remember time, from the first.
I shone above the new king, the baby at His birth.

And so we sing in praise,
though we know the painful days.
And so we feel His gaze,
as he hears our lamenting praise.

I shine all day, blinding with my light.
I find it unsurprising you only see us glow at night.
I shone above this planet as the King finished the fight,
Still sometimes it seems the shadow has more substance than the light.

The glory at creation was rotted by the fall.
Broken now, holding on some how.
Man made his bed and now only wants to sleep.
While the legions of angels close their eyes and weep.

It's said within his book, these days shall pass.
And the end is love and happiness, that evil cannot grasp.
Until the those days arise, we will hold fast.
And face the many evil's 'till the King comes home at last.

And so we sing, in praise,
though we know the painful days.
And so we feel, His gaze,

I cracked open my heart, and this is what poured out.

When does dreaming start and the truth stop?
I try to speak the truth, you claim I'm wrong.
Burn it down, this web of lies,
before the spider sinks his bite.

You rely on logic, I on love.
The one I'm not worthy to sing of.
You've broken my heart, and crazed my mind.
I began to think that you are right.

The poisons racing through my head.
I dunno when I'll stop to think.
The life is leeching out of me,
this failing ship starting to sink.

I left the truth to follow your lies,
