The Walls of Jericho

This is Full Armor Studio's first game and it's based on the Biblical story of the walls of Jericho falling. Walls of Jericho is a fun single-player puzzle game. You are basically matching up blocks of like colors to make them crumble. Sounds simple enough, but there's a catch. There are believers walking about, and you must keep their attention. You have to blast the stones quickly or they\'ll get bored and leave! Special effects like fire and lightning attract believers, but they don't like meteor showers.

How do I play the game?

There are gold, silver, blue, and red blocks. Drag and drop blocks to make pairs of three or more and watch them disappear. The red blocks when clicked show a special power, match three of those and see some eye candy while getting rid of blocks. When you crumble enough blocks you'll earn an Ark block. Match up three Arks and you're on to the next level.

Special Powers?

You'll see lightning flashes, fire coming from the sky, even angels feeding your believers for you. The one effect the believers don't like seeing is meteor showers (understandably). Be careful not to overdo some moves, the followers will get bored and leave. Yes, they are tough to please!

How do I score?

Once you beat a level you'll get your score tallied up. You get points for the number of blocks you crush, the number of followers, chain combination bonus points and special power points. Once tallied up, brace yourself for a tougher level!

Appropriate?

From a Christian perspective, this is a biblically based game, and I see nothing wrong with it. Anyone with fast reflexes will enjoy this.

Overall experience/Ease of use

The game is fun to play and it's easy to learn. The tips help you understand the game objectives and offer good advice. The graphics are simple but good for this game type. The screen resolution is set to 640x480, and you can't change it. The music and sound effects are very fitting. The music speeds up as your followers dwindle away. It sure does get your adrenaline pumping! This game is single-player only; there is no way to play against your friends other than by comparing high scores. If you wish to purchase this game, it's $19.95. Check out the demo, it's 7.2MB!
