Some "games" are less games than they are statements. Sometimes it's an artistic statement about a weird premise, sometimes it's just a troll move the author is well aware the audience is in on and that's part of the funny intended. And some combine the two, as Nothing does.
Before I cover the game proper, we need to cover the concept of "auteur projects that exist to troll". My favorite example of this concept is "Paint Drying", a 10+ hour troll of the British Board of Film Classification, which forced them to watch a movie consisting entirely of literal paint drying on a wall for an absurdly long time. The intention was to annoy them as a protest of film censorship and the absurd fees one must pay to get the BBFC to review a film (as they had a Kickstarter raised to pay for it). It also counts as an interesting auteur film in its own right, because, technically, it is a work of art with a beginning, middle, and end, if a really boring one.
Nothing is a game cast from the same mold. There is literally nothing to do, both as a theme and how you play. You lose by doing ANYTHING, like pressing a key or moving the mouse.

Strong Points: Incredibly simple and straightforward concept
Weak Points: Not much to do, albeit that's the point
Moral Warnings: None
Graphically, it uses the Unity Engine, but to display a very simple timer showing how long the player has done nothing. If you press a key or do "something", you lose, with the screen changing to reflect this.
As you might expect from a very simple game, this has no sounds or music. Given the super simplistic theme, that is both the point, and listening to music or sound would count as doing something, hence their absence.
Control is the easiest thing in the world. Just don't press any keys as the game loads up or move the mouse. Doing so will lose you the game. It's the living embodiment of the classic phrase "the only winning move is not to play".

Stability is great. If you can boot up your PC, you can run this game. It will run on Linux out of the box via Steam Proton and is Verified for the Steam Deck.
Morally, well, this is actually stainless. There is nothing to complain about whatsoever. Even though this game is so obviously a free install for a laugh meme game, idleness is the point of the game, so we at CCG would like to add some advice about idleness in real life from our preferred instruction manual:
Poor is he who works with a negligent hand,
But the hand of the diligent makes rich. -Proverbs 10:4
Overall, it's technically sound and absolutely free, so no complaints there. Morally, it's got nothing to complain about in a very literal sense. If you want a quick laugh, go ahead and get it, it's free.
