Legend of Mir is a free Online role playing game. That is it\'s free until you get to level 7. After that it\'s 10E(Euros)/month or 25E for 3 months. Their website is http://www.legendofmir.net. As for a story, the human race is being wiped out by mobs of creatures. You must gather together with thousands of other online players and defeat these bad guys. When you design your character you can choose three classes. The warrior, wizard or Taoist (healer) class. Then you choose your gender. legend of Mir features a nice Guild system that you can use to join or create guilds. These are nice to join early on to get experience, weapons and armor. From a Christian perspective, my main complaint is the female clothing or lack of it. In fact when you start the game you\'re wearing just underwear, or bra too if you\'re a girl. There is violence, you can kill bad guys, people, and animals like chickens and deer. You can make good money by killing animals and selling them to the butcher. The game is easy to install. The graphics are good. Nice sound effects, there isn\'t much background music, but when there is it\'s nice. There are town people who help you out. Some can give you guidance, others can hold your stuff for free. For controls use can use the mouse and keyboard. There is a hot key option, that helps. The interface is easy to use, you use mostly the mouse. You click to kill, interact with people and collect meat from the animals. You have to click a lot, your fingers will get tired! The game runs in Windows 2000 and is quite stable. My only complaint is it\'s slow at times, then again I have a 56K connection. Overall a decent game, but it has a very weak story line. There isn\'t much direction or plot, often times you will wind up wandering around trying to figure out what to do. This game is a good way to waste time though.
