Clusterball is a 3D flying sports game. The point of the game is to fly around and collect balls. There are three colors Red (1 pt), Blue (2 pts), and yellow (3 pts). Once you get the balls, you have to defend them. Other ships will try very hard to take them from you. The point is to go to the arena and go through the goal with a string of balls trailing behind you to score. There are many scenic levels like Egypt and Stonehenge. There are different game play modes. There is Free For All (Anything goes), Two Team, Join by color, and Join by name. You can play against people or against the computer. With it\'s good AI, the computer is a worthy opponent. There are many weapons available to snatch balls from other players, or be victim of. You can use Smoke Puffs to destroy their chain of balls. Or use a Ball Snatcher to take the whole chain. You can use an Inflator to sent their balls in a gas bubble drifting in the sky. A great offence is Inverse Controls, this is nasty. BackDraft sends your opponent into reverse at high speed of course. Spaghetti String ties up your opponent for a little while. Tractor Beam locks your opponents movement while you have it on them. Gravitator weighs down your opponent with a huge blob of green slime. You can bomb them with shockwave. For defense you can use super boost, it will quickly get you out of danger. Just make sure you can control your ship at that speed. This game has potential, it has an original idea. I am just disappointed about the controls, they are very difficult to use. I have tried customizing them many different ways. Simply put your ship is very hard to maneuver. This takes away from game play. From a Christian standpoint, This game is clean. It\'s rated E for everyone, I would have to agree with that. The game was easy to install. The graphics were good. It ran well in Windows 2000, it didn\'t crash at all. The music was good, it had a nice Egyptian theme. Sound effects were good too. For controls you can use keyboard, mouse and joystick. Even though you can use whatever controls you want, they are still difficult to use. If it wasn\'t for that I would highly recommend the game. You can get this game for $20 at Real.com.
