Bruce Banner is a genetic scientist who is studying gamma radiation. Little does he know that he has an inner monster within him. This monster gets unleashed in a freak lab accident. As the Hulk, the most powerful being on Earth, you must survive waves of army attacks.

Game Modes

There are two game modes to choose from. There is the standard story mode with easy, medium and hard difficulty levels. There is also challenge mode where you can test your endurance, do time attacks and smash mode. Judging by the demo, there does not seem to be any multiplayer available.

Game Play

The demo only lets you play a little bit of story mode. For a 155MB demo there is very little game play, around 5-10 minutes max. You get to have a feel for the controls, and a tutorial of the different moves and offensive tactics available to you. There are two cut scenes and everything else is locked out.

Special Features

The full game will have features and cheating enabled. There is even an area to input (cheat) codes. You will be able to play all the cut scenes, check out movie art, access Hulk Unleashed and see the credits if you wish. (The credits work in the demo)

The prime theme of this game is anger. The Hulk is fueled by it. There is violence as he smashes and punches his foes. There is no blood, and this game is great for stress relief!

Overall experienceEase of use

The game installation was painless, as it uses a standard installshield wizard. I did not experience any lockups or crashes. The 3D graphics looked pretty good. Not realistic, but reasonable since this is based off of a comic book. There are nice details and cut scenes. The sound effects were fitting even though it\'s limited to smashing and explosions. For controls you can use keyboard or joystick/game pad. Force feedback is supported. I found the demo short and quite easy I hope the full version offers a lot more, especially if it has no multiplayer.

About Us:

Christ Centered Gamer looks at video games from two view points. We analyze games on a secular level which will break down a game based on its graphics, sound, stability and overall gaming experience. If you’re concerned about the family friendliness of a game, we have a separate moral score which looks at violence, language, sexual content, occult references and other ethical issues.
