Game Play
Tiles, tiles everywhere! The goal is to match them up in pairs and quickly. There are bonus points for every pair you clear within 1500 seconds or so. If you\'re real good, you\'ll have them all cleared by then. If you are not so good there are practice levels for you. Still not simple enough? Try the kids theme with letters and numbers instead of Chinese symbols.
Game Modes
There are three game modes to choose from: Super Match, Chaos and Practice. The only difference between Super Match and Chaos is that Chaos starts you at a higher level. Practice mode lets you start wherever you like. There are no bonus points but you do get five shuffles.
How do I score?
The whole point is to match the tiles and clear them all away. You\'ll get more points for the ones you clear away while the bonus counter is going. You still get points when it runs out though. You will be notified when you\'re officially out of moves and you can shuffle the tiles around a bit. It will cost you 250 points though. You have five shuffles per level and you carry over your unused ones. If you get stuck, you can get a hint. If you are really stuck and want some more help you can get a couple of moves shown to you with a super hint. With twenty beautifully rendered 3D levels you\'re bound to score some big points! The tiles will be stacked and put into many different shapes. You can zoom in with your wheel mouse and rotate the camera with your right mouse button.
Appropriate?
This game is perfectly clean. I don\'t know what the symbols on the tiles mean but I doubt it\'s anything bad. ;) The name of the default theme is Zen but it ends there.
Overall experienceEase of use
This game is easy to install and play. You only need your mouse to choose tiles, and the keyboard is needed to enter your name in the high score list. The game ran very stable with no errors. My only gripe is that the game is always windowed, as there is no true full screen mode. The graphics are 3D accelerated so make sure your video card can support it. The tiles are easy to read and the zooming in and rotating around helps out a lot. The sound effects were fitting. I really liked the Asian music in the background as it added to the environment nicely. This game is single player only, but the price compensates for that. For $16.95 this game is well worth it. It\'s fun to play and is surprisingly addicting!
