Pizza Slice is a simcade restaurant experience, a truly one of a kind offering on the market. It mixes simulation game tropes with an arcade gameplay approach, where your dexterity is put to the test under the pressure of time.
The game is a very unique proposal aimed at both fans of simulation games and those who prefer more arcade experiences. Three difficulty levels help the players tailor the experience to their own tastes.
Game Modes
SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN
The Campaign lasts 21 in-game days with the goal being to turn a small, run-down restaurant into a well prospering family-business. Of course there will be challenges along the way, besides just preparing the dishes, like health inspection controls, dirty competitors and even the mafia.
After completing the Campaign an Endless Mode will become available, in which you can run your restaurant for as long as you want.
INFERNO KITCHEN
Pizza Slice’s competitive mode, in which two teams of up to three players battle it out in a restaurant competition. The players will need to coordinate between running for ingredients, preparing the pizzas and fending off the meddlings of the opposing team.
A game round divides into two stages:
The Preparation stage - to set up work stations, gather ingredients and start working on the pizzas;
The Cooking stage - in which guests enter the cooking arena and start ordering pizzas, separately for each team. The players will need to compose the order, bake it and provide it to a specific table in the allotted time to earn a score rating.
The Pizzas are rated by the customers. The team which gathered the most stars wins the round.
It’s a very frantic, engaging and extremely fun mode for players who are looking for some competition.
[UPCOMING] CO-OP CAMPAIGN
A feature which will come in an update soon after launch, allowing two players to experience the game’s Campaign and Endless Mode together.
