Austrian indie studios One More Journey and Fire Sword Studios (The Perfect Tower II) have teamed up on Herdles, a magical dog adventure announced at today’s Future Games Show! Described as ‘Spyro meets Breath of the Wild, with a dog’, this adorable game is coming to Steam later this year. You can check out the full game reveal trailer below.
Inspired by creative director Christian Hübel’s real life dog Snoopy, Herdles is an open world platformer where you zoom around a vibrant landscape, using an evolving arsenal of abilities to explore, solve challenges and discover secrets – one bark at a time!

About the game:
In Herdles, you play a magical dog on a mission to restore balance to a fracturing world. Zoom through four regions of a vibrant landscape, using physics-based powers to venture further and creatively solve challenges, uncovering secrets using your superpowered bark.
Along the way, you’ll save corrupted creatures called ‘Herdles’. Each Herdle comes with new abilities – bounce, glide, break through walls, swim up waterfalls, and more. Playful experimentation is key! Herdles offers deep accessibility and customization options that you can tailor to suit your comfort, needs and playstyle.

Herdles is co-developed by the Austrian indie studios One More Journey and Fire Sword Studios.
One More Journey, led by psychologist and creative director Christian Hübel, is a newly-formed indie studio based in Vienna. The canine hero of Herdles is inspired by Christian’s real-life dog, Snoopy.
Fire Sword Studios is a Viennese indie duo consisting of Thomas Müller and Matthias Dafert, best known for The Perfect Tower II, which has reached over half a million players on Steam.
