Demon Lord: Just A Block showcased strategic plays, satisfying combos, and action-packed combat sequences at Future Games Show today.
The action roguelite where the world only moves when the player does, from solo developer YuWave, will launch on PC via Steam on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
Building off of its popular demo, garnering more than 30K downloads and a 98% positive review score, reborn Demon Lords can slam into new content for the full release, including:
Five new chapters (seven in total)
70+ enemies and bosses
New weapons and abilities
Nine difficulty ascensions
Three endings to discover, and more!
Recently resurrected and full of furry, embark on a vengeful journey as the severed head of a once powerful Demon Lord.
Choose to tactfully approach combat encounters with calculated maneuvers, or attack rapidly with a barrage of quick movements, doges, and parries to slay so-called heroes.
Explore and manipulate grid-based maps, moving or destroying elements to discover hidden rooms, solve puzzles, or turn the tides of battle.
Experiment with an endless amount of build possibilities, with 14 different weapons, 10 archetypes, and more than 200 abilities to select. Defeat formidable bosses, each with distinct attacks and mechanics inspired by classic puzzle games.
