Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 Gets a New Uncut, Uncensored Launch Trailer

The broken things have come out to play today, as Mob Entertainment drops a surprise “uncut” and uncensored extended launch trailer following Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5’s record-breaking release on February 18th.

The extended trailer, which features the opening live-action “Wrongside Outimals” commercial sequence, is punctuated by extra footage of gruesome experiments conducted by the Prototype. The gnarled fluff-meets-flesh cutaway sequences offer a closer, unfiltered look at the disturbing creations and twisted world inside the dark underbelly of Playtime Co., marking a tonal escalation into the darker territory that helped make Chapter 5 the most widely watched and discussed entry in the series to date. After all, what does it truly take to turn a child into a toy?

Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 has quickly become the highest-performing launch in the franchise’s history, soaring to the #1 spot on Steam’s Global Top Sellers chart and holding the position for more than 24 hours following release. Day-one sales shattered previous chapter records by thousands, while also claiming the #1 most-watched game spot on Twitch. The momentum continues on Steam, where the game currently boasts a “Very Positive” rating across more than 2,800 player reviews.

Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 - Broken Things is now available on Steam and Epic Games Store. Console versions for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox will launch later this year.
