Are you a Lightgun sharp-shooter? Welcome to the G‘AIM’E WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2026!

Love shooting games and fancy yourself as a bit of a champion? In March 2026, the mighty arcade classic TIME CRISIS will celebrate its 30th anniversary, and to mark this important milestone, the team at G‘AIM’E is proud to unveil the first ever G‘AIM’E WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 (#GWC2026), so that players around the world can celebrate their sharp-shooting prowess!

Keen sharp-shooters are encouraged to grab their G‘AIM’E Lightguns and shoot it out for the world’s fastest clear times of TIME CRISIS, and there will be two different categories to compete in,’ENJOY’ and ‘ATHLETE’ designed to offer a fun challenge for gamers of all skill levels.

The contest will start on Saturday March 14th (Japan time) and will run through until Sunday April 12th, so any uncrowned legends-to-be have plenty of time to secure that perfect score. There are some amazing prizes on offer (including $500 Amazon gift vouchers) for the winners as well as more traditional sporting medals in shiny gold, silver and bronze!

So how will it all work? Keen wannabe winners need to clear the first stage as quickly as they can, and post a photo (for the ENJOY league #GWC2026E) or complete all three stages and post a video (for the ATHLETE league #GWC2026A). Entrants need to apply on X or Instagram, ensuring that all entries feature the correct hashtag and their G‘AIM’E Lightgun. Participants will also need to mark their entry with their country flag and account name, ensuring they have completed all of the other criteria. Players can compete in both the ENJOY and ATHLETE categories at the same time - there’s no restriction if players fancy themselves at the top of both leaderboards.

Players who do not own G'AIM'E × TIME CRISIS can still participate in the competition using in-store demo units (where available), and have a chance to win some great prizes simply by engaging with the team’s social media channels.
