LAUNCH DATE TRAILER:
Denshattack!, from publisher Fireshine Games and developer Undercoders, challenges players to become the greatest train driver in Japan by competing in over-the-top train battles. Push the limits on what a train can do in 50+ vibrant stages across all of Japan, facing off against a colorful cast of rivals and diverse missions, all set to a soundtrack that matches the controlled chaos of a train doing a kickflip.
The Switch 2 demo features the game’s first four stages alongside a trick park for players to practice pulling off sick tricks, wild stunts and landing huge combos. Controlling your train might seem simple, but it takes time and practice to become one with your engine. Embrace the chaos, break the rules, create your own flow and never slow down. That’s how you become a Denshattack master.
Set in a dystopian future where the ultra-rich have sequestered themselves into impenetrable air-purifying domes, those left in the wasteland have rebuilt the world under gang rule. As Emi, you will face rival gangs, collect upgrades and climb the ranks to become the best in Japan. Denshattack! combines the rebellious spirit of skateboarding with the rich culture of Japan into a runaway thrill ride you won’t want to put down.
Today’s announcement comes on the heels of a brand-new musical trailer that debuted last week showcasing the artists joining main composer Tee Lopes (Sonic Mania, TMNT: Shredder's Revenge) in contributing some absolutely banger tracks for Denshattack’s soundtrack, including Ryo Nagamatsu (Splatoon series, Mario Kart Series), Richard Jacques (Jet Set Radio series, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy), Takenobu Mitsuyoshi (Daytona USA, Sega Rally Championship) and much more.
