CODEX MORTIS release date Early Access March 19 and exclusive level on Steam Fest (still 100% AI)

Big one today for Codex Mortis - the necromantic bullet hell that broke the internet in December as the first game on Steam made 100% with AI.
The new demo just went live at Steam Fest with a brand new exclusive level (Void Sanctum - only playable during the festival). And we're announcing today: Early Access launches March 19, 2026.
What's changed since the demo? Eight unique levels, each with a different objective. This isn't one loop on repeat - every level demands a completely different build from five schools of dark magic. Preparation meets destruction, times eight.
Some numbers from the demo: 9,500 players, 71-minute median time sessions, Asmongold played it for an hour and called it "pretty good," coverage in dozens outlets across seven languages.
Last time around, most coverage focused on debating the AI production process rather than the game itself - and fair enough, it's a big topic. But this time we'd love for you to actually try the game. Download the Steam Fest demo, pick your build, and see if it clicks. We think the gameplay speaks louder than any headline about how it was made.
