World Premiere Reveal - The Caribou Trail
Hello narrative & history enthusiasts,
The Caribou Trail has officially been revealed.
Developed by Unreliable Narrators, this first-person narrative adventure is set during the Gallipoli campaign of World War I and follows a young Newfoundlander who enlists with the Newfoundland Regiment, stepping into one of the most disastrous and rarely explored campaigns of the war.
Focused on survival, companionship, and the psychological toll of war, the game blends environmental storytelling with historically grounded settings to offer a deeply human perspective on life at the front. There may even be something about a ghost or two.
This marks the very first public announcement of the game, which will be officially unveiled during the Québec Games Sale Showcase (starting now) alongside the release of its first reveal trailer, the launch of its Steam page, and a playable demo.

About the Game
The Caribou Trail is a first-person narrative game that puts emotional storytelling in the context of a fascinating but lesser-known side of the Great War. Players experience the whiplash between the quiet, personal life in the trenches and the horrors of war during high stakes missions.
The game places strong emphasis on:
Immersive environmental storytelling
Psychological survival and internal conflict
Historically grounded settings inspired by extensive research
Rather than glorifying war, The Caribou Trail invites players to endure it.
