Physics-Based Co-Op Brawler “AWAYSIS” Unleashes New Demo for Steam Next Fest Today

AWAYSIS, the physics-fueled co-op dungeon brawler featured in Day of the Devs - The Game Awards Edition 2025 from Kyoto-based 17-BIT, slides into Steam Next Fest with a brand-new demo available now.

Join a merry band of small critters on a big mission to save the floating paradise of Awaysis from a looming darkness. Master momentum-based movement and slippery melee combat alongside ranged magic attacks while jumping, sliding, and colliding around the world.

Engage in the inherent slapstick comedy of party brawler games in tussles with the Dark Lord’s goofy Grimlins. Play through the first three campaign missions, with 24 levels coming at launch, spanning lush grasslands to deep, lava-filled caves.

Grab a fellow adventurer or three for a campaign fueled by the power of friendship… or for a round of friendly “co-opetition” minigames like King of the Hill, as you squabble over valuable gems in both local and Remote Play co-op, with online multiplayer deathmatch and the soccer-like Brawly Ball modes, with even more modes coming in the full game.

AWAYSIS is coming soon to PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, with language support for English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Korean, Portuguese (Portugal), and Chinese (Traditional & Simplified).

The new Steam demo features language support in English. For more information, visit the official 17-BIT website, and follow 17-BIT on Instagram, X / Twitter, and YouTube.
