Touhou Meets Turn-Based Tactics: “Fantasy Maiden Wars” Demo Now Available on PC
Fantasy Maiden Wars - DREAM OF THE STRAY DREAMER -, the bullet hell tactical RPG based in the Touhou universe developed by Sanbondo and published by Phoenixx Inc., battles for the fate of the world in a new demo on PC via Steam ahead of the full launch on Mon, Oct. 20th, 2025.
In the demo, dive into the first three chapters of an epic tale spanning 77 chapters at launch.
When mysterious incidents crop up across Gensokyo, it’s up to the Touhou heroines to get to the bottom of it. Choose either Shrine Maiden Reimu or Marisa the Magician, and venture down two branching narratives that blend the original Touhou Project lore with story elements inspired by fan creations.
Save Gensokyo with the help of more than 70 playable units, each with their own signature abilities and beautiful battle animations.
Command grid-based battlefields with impeccable positioning and strategic implementation of Danmaku-style bullet hell barrage attacks for area-of-effect offensive strikes. Unleash iconic Spell Card attacks up close and at a distance.
Learn the ropes of fighting fairies and other magical creatures in tutorial mode. Peruse a library of Touhou Project lore from official and fan-made works in the in-game Glossary. Jam out to over 200 Touhou tracks in the Music Room.
