Lightning-Fast German Operator Leads Major Caliber Update 1.2.0
Introducing Assault Faust, explosive new game modes, and player-focused rewards
September 17, 2025 — 1C Game Studios today launched Update 1.2.0 for Caliber, delivering the tactical online shooter's most substantial content drop yet.
Incomparable Speed Meets Destruction: Welcome Assault Faust
The centerpiece of this update introduces Assault Faust, a lightning-fast operator from Germany's elite SEK unit. This isn't just another soldier — Faust rewrites the rulebook with unmatched mobility, cover-crushing capabilities, and a devastating new Electrified effect that will leave enemies reconsidering their defensive strategies. Assault Faust officially has the fastest movement speed in the game and players can unlock this game-changing operator through the new Battle Pass system.
The brand new Reinforcement event also kicks off alongside the 1.2.0 update, unleashing two new modes:
Team Deathmatch (PvP) — 8v8 firefights where positioning and reflexes determine survival.
Onslaught: Reinforcement (PvE) — Coordinated 6-player operations that test teamwork under pressure
Beyond the headlines, Update 1.2.0 includes quality-of-life improvements for the dedicated community:
Reward Log—daily rewards for logging into the game.
More than 60 types of weapons received an option for suppressor installation.
