Monday, September 15th, 2025, Cambridge, UK. Get ready to experience RuneScape like never before with the arrival of CATALYST, an explosive new limited-time game mode and the first EVER RuneScape League, playable in-game for RuneScape members today.
Until November 10th, step into the familiar world of Gielinor to discover a thrilling new twist as you start fresh with accelerated progression, explosive XP rates, and epic rewards up for grabs. Progress through the CATALYST League by taking on a series of amped-up tasks, ranging from facing a singular goblin in combat to slaying entire hordes of hungry, tormented demons.
Complete tasks to earn League Points and unlock powerful new Relics, game-changing upgrades that elevate your playstyle and alter your gameplay. Choose from entirely new Relics like Farming Frenzy or Golden Footed, or browse through fan-favourites from the Old School RuneScape Leagues catalogue. Make RuneScape League history by topping the CATALYST League HiScore chart and walking away with the rare and coveted Dragon Trophy. Every player will also receive a decorated Leagues Trophy, while hard-earned points can be exchanged for exclusive rewards back in the main game once CATALYST comes to its epic conclusion.
To celebrate the launch of CATALST, RuneScape has launched a membership offer which will allow players to purchase membership which lasts the duration of the event for £15.99 / $21.99 / €19.99 and is available to purchase from 15 September to 21 September.
