Above Snakes launches on consoles today
Find your place in the turbulent world of the Wild West.
September 4th, 2025 — RedDeer.Games is proud to announce that Above Snakes, an atmospheric, isometric world builder, inspired by frontier myth and created by Square Glade Games, is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox One & X|S.
It is commonly believed that stories about the Wild West are written by men. But not in this case. Above Snakes is a portrayal of the Wild West through the eyes of a woman, an extraordinary one.
Aiyana is a child of two worlds, her father came from a Native American tribe and her mother was a colonist. Belonging to both and neither of the conflicting forces fighting for control of the Wild West at the time, Aiyana will try to find her place in this turbulent world.
About The Game
As Aiyana, players will awaken their creativity by creating a vast, open world piece by
piece – by shaping the landscape and mixing different biomes. The vast terrain hides
many secrets to be discovered and all the resources necessary for survival.
Thanks to them, players will be able to build and craft the tools they need, which they
can later use in hunting, fishing, and even fighting many dangers, including undead
Lost Souls.
Above Snakes perfectly combines and intertwines world building and exploration with light survival elements, providing an enjoyable, relaxing gameplay experience that can be played at one's own pace.
