Grim Trials is an action-packed rogue lite dungeon crawler game with crafting element where you can craft and customize your equipment to create your own gameplay experience. In this game, you will act as Avelin, a lighthearted girl who doing a trial to become a grim reaper, in order to meet her loved one who is still alive, once again.
DEFEAT ENEMIES & REAP THEIR SOULS
The trial will be full of battling enemies in hex-grid arena grounds; the sinful souls and 7 sinful bosses. Defeat them all with variety of weapons and Blessings from the God of Death, to complete the trial and become a true grim reaper.
GATHER MATERIALS & CRAFT EQUIPMENT
Collect the spoils of the battle and use them to become more powerful through the crafting system. There are various weapon, armor, and consumable with different effects and rarity level to be crafted.
CUSTOMIZE GEARS & CREATE PERSONALIZED BUILD
Become stronger as you want to be! Mix and match your crafted equipment alongside with skill tree system to create a strong build that match with your preferred gameplay.

Grim Trials is a heavy metal action roguelite where you craft and customize your own weapons and equipment to embrace Death your own way.
Play as Avelin, a young woman who has met an untimely end, and found herself recruited as one of Death’s many Reapers. Tasked to hunt down impure souls, face her demons, and fight her way through an underworld of her own making, Avelin must endure these trials to become a full-fledged Reaper and see her still-living love once again.
Endless hex-grid arenas filled with monsters, traps, sinful souls, and 7 sacrilegious bosses await. Slay them all with a variety of customizable scythes, crossbows, and powerful Blessings from the Gods of Death around the world. Master the scythe and crossbow to maximize damage to your foes with a unique combat system that rewards clever use of your dual-wielded weapons.
The spoils of battle are the tools of your trade. Gather materials from the battlefield and work with your mentors in the arcane arts to craft new and ever more powerful weapons, armor, and consumables.

Learn the stories of the dead by interacting with the Academy’s denizens.

Every time Avelin falls in battle, the experience and materials you’ve earned stay with her. Live, fight, die, then live again, over and over until the promise is kept.
