June 26, 2025 – QUByte Interactive, in partnership with Salve Games, has just announced that Music Drive: Chase the Beat - a wild mix of real music, street culture, and high-speed gameplay - is launching on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch on July 3, 2025.
Driving, shooting, and beats that hit hard
Take control of Tina, the sharpest driver in the hood, and Tunner, a cold-blooded shooter, as they race through intense missions to recover stolen cassette tapes packed with unreleased tracks.
Real music, real voices
With every update, a new artist will be featured. To kick things off, the launch soundtrack is signed by none other than rapper NP Vocal — straight from the favela to the world. His tracks power each chase, every sharp turn, and every explosion, all pulsing with the rhythm of urban culture.
“Seeing my music in a game that’s going worldwide is a dream come true. It’s about bringing the favela to new places,” says NP Vocal, whose lyrics carry the heart of the streets.
Street culture in the driver’s seat
The game also brings authenticity to its development process. “We met at Perifacon, an event that brings together games, rap, and comics. Now we’re coming back this year to launch the game,” says Alexandre De Maio, director at Salve Games.
Developer Guilherme Candido, who grew up in the outskirts of São Paulo and spent four years building the game independently, adds:
“I grew up in Cohab 2, and one of my priorities was making a lightweight and accessible game. At the same time, we built a dynamic chase system - no predictable patterns. Enemies surround you, work together, and make every match feel unique.”
A stage for new artists
Beyond the launch, the game will expand with updates featuring new tracks and up-and-coming artists, turning Music Drive into a platform for discovering fresh urban music through gameplay. Just imagine hearing a new track before anyone else, while tearing through the streets at full speed.
