Survive Civilization's Downfall and Build a Better Future in Drop Point.

Tiny Indie Studio's Debut Game Coming to PC on Nov 14th

Free Play Steam Weekend Starts NOW (Friday June 20th)

June 20, 2025, Hamilton, New Zealand – Tiny Indie Studio, a small team of developers from New Zealand, is inviting you to the end of civilization – and giving you the tools to remake it in your image in Drop Point, a massive online and single-player survival adventure and Tiny Indie's debut game. Drop Point is set on an island where a powerful company, AquaNova, has begun to invest heavily. Their most recent project is a state-of-the-art hydro-dam, which is claimed to be the most ecofriendly and efficient in the world. The company brought jobs, infrastructure, and wealth to the island, but at what cost? You can try Drop Point for free this weekend on Steam at Drop Point on Steam

Drop Point Early Access version will launch on November 14th for PC.

Groups of survivors roam the Island, searching for any way to rebuild a future for themselves, no matter the cost. Some farm, craft, or hunt. Some raid. Others put skills from a past life to good use and build safe, sturdy havens against the dangers lurking out of sight. There's a way to survive no matter what your specialties and preferences, though no one stays alone and alive for long. Cooperation is essential, whether it's striking a temporary deal, forming permanent alliances, or building a small settlement with others and learning to thrive in the chaos.

Not that thriving is on the menu for anyone initially. You start Drop Point with nothing but a few rations, a bandage, and the determination to find somewhere safe – before it's too late. You make your way to Drop Point's Safe Zone, a small shelter cobbled together with bits and pieces of leftover military tech and specialized know-how where people come together and exchange ideas and services. Here, you can take on requests or just grab what you need before heading back out.

Your success is also your potential demise, however. Bustling outposts and well-off travelers draw the envy of raiders whose vision of a better life means taking yours. These aren't just barbarians outside the proverbial gates, either. Abandoned military-grade weapons and even military vehicles give raiders and other aggressive actors in Drop Point a dangerous edge in battle, but whether you meet violence with violence or strive for a peaceful settlement is up to you and, more importantly, how prepared you are.

Whether you need arms for combat, rare goods to sweeten a trade deal, or just food and other essentials to keep going, you'll have to leave your base and explore what's left of the world eventually. Desiccated cities, abandoned bunkers, and ravaged outposts hold all manner of treasures from the old world – building materials, protective gear, scraps you can use to make weapons on the go. Don't get too cocky, though. When you die in Drop Point, you lose everything you have on hand.
