To the Victor Go the Spoils in Monaco 2’s New Content Update
The heist of the century gets even better with an update full of riches for the taking.
[San Diego - June 18th, 2025] - The planning stage is over and the PvP heist can begin! Pocketwatch Games’ previously announced massive content update for Monaco 2 is live now! Prove yourself as the best thief around with PVP, add to your haul with new levels, and kick it old school with skins inspired by the original Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine.
In the new Monaco 2 PVP mode, up to four players are on the job. Whoever collects 200 coins first gets off scot-free with the loot and bragging rights. You’ll want to case the joint before diving in, as each new PVP level has its own chaotic twist.
The Cafe Shootout: The race is on in this arena as you’ll want to loot 200 coins before everyone else. Make your shots count with limited ammo, and when you hit your target, add some of their coins to your total.
The Hotel: Not only will you need to steal your way to 200 coins, you’ll have to do it without the civilians in the bustling hotel noticing your sticky fingers. Oh also, you can teleport.
The Graveyard: The danger level amps up in this level as guards lurk around the graveyard waiting to stop your gold grabbing antics. You’ll not only need to be faster than your opponents but also sneakier.
That’s just where the fun begins. Players will also find eight new character skins that bring the feel of the original Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine to the sequel. Speaking of players, your voices have been heard! Pocketwatch Games has implemented balance adjustments for late-game levels, which includes the Prison level that has caused even the most experienced thieves to falter.
Key Features:
Thief on Thief Thievery: The new PVP mode brings 3 levels, and even more antics. Race against up to 3 other players to be the top thief while contending with limited ammo, no weapons, and pacing guards across three levels.
Assemble Your Crew: They say there’s no honor among thieves, but they’ve never met your crew! Team up with up to three other players in local or online multiplayer to finish the job.
Utilize Your Skills: Choose from a selection of eight playable characters, each with their own unique abilities and playstyles. Need to adapt? Switch your character mid-run to overcome whatever obstacles stand between you and untold riches!
Hatch the Perfect Plan: Every heist requires careful planning. With Blueprint Mode, you can look at the level’s layout before you start the mission and craft the best approach.
Endless Thrills: Complete the structured campaign or test your skills against the hundreds of procedurally generated seeded levels, proving once and for all that you and your friends are the ultimate thieves!
