Ascend to ZERO Welcomes Akari Kito to Cast in New Update!
Kito voices new characters with the roll out of a voice over update, live now

[South Korea - June 12th, 2025] - Flyaway Games is thrilled to announce the world renowned voice actress Akari Kito will be joining Ascend to ZERO as part of a new update rolling out today. Characters will now have voiced lines, including Chrono Child and Frost Moon Hacker, a Drone-wielding warrior introduced during the Steam Next Fest demo this week. Kito also voices five other characters—each representing alternate future versions of the protagonist who have grown up in different timelines. Each character brings players into the world of Ascend to ZERO, engaging them within the game’s layered and unique atmosphere. Take a listen in the latest trailer here.
The new update also extends the special in-game event to commemorate Steam Next Fest that allows players to unlock an exclusive color scheme that will be usable at launch for the full game. Anyone who wishes to participate can do so by downloading and playing the Steam Next Fest demo here.
The demo, which dropped earlier this week, also includes the Stage 2 Update, which features an entirely new area based on a machine-ravaged post-human earth, complete with new monster attack patterns and stage gimmicks.

Time Action Roguelike: Use time freeze to wipe out enemies on your way to saving the world from destruction.
Time-Stopping Action: Dynamic action allows you to dodge, escape, or deliver your offensive while time is stopped.
Infinite Growth: Replay the game to continue growing your strength, leveling up in an instant, and acquiring powerful equipment.
Diverse Characters: Be reborn as a new avatar and utilize their unique skills and gameplay capabilities to shape your own playstyle.
