STOCKHOLM — May 31st, 2025 — Paradox Arc and SquareNite today announced that their game, Darfall, will launch on Steam for PC on May 8, 2025. Darfall is a hero-based city-building survival game set in the world of Aganor. It will be available for $24,99/€24,50/£20,99. Eager players can get a first look of the adventure with a free demo, available now on Steam.
In Darfall, players control a powerful hero tasked with exploring the surrounding lands, gathering resources, and leading a small village as it grows into a flourishing city. During the day, players can strengthen their hero, explore their surroundings, expand their settlement, and prepare their defenses. But as night falls, sinister forces of undead emerge from the shadows, sending waves of enemies to attack your base. Each night brings new challenges, requiring sharp strategy and tactical skill to survive.
The game offers a wealth of content, including a story-driven campaign, a survival mode where players must withstand escalating undead assaults, several different types of heroes and a Scenario Editor that allows for the creation of custom maps and game modes, offering endless replayability and new challenges.
