Poem: Friends Are a Wave Away

Sometimes we feel that we walk alone,
That our trails are one of a kind.
And that we must deal with our difficulties which leave us bone cold.
Yet show to others we've got it together in our mind.
Ups and downs,
More downs than ups.
Why do we slide around
In this stuff?
All alone
We continue to moan in our tribulation.
Yet miss our own mistake.
That more than a million
Nearly seven billion others
Live and breath,
Struggle and cry.
It is called isolation
And in devastation
We chose this
Because we give in to our self-pity.
A choice has two sides.
And this is where our feelings collide.
You don't always have to be
Alone in the hardest seas.
A choice has two sides.

You are not alone

So do not forgo
To find friends for the raging sea.
