Agreed. Religion has a component of morality that comes from outside humanity itself. I would even go as far as to say that the author of the article is starting out with an incorrect definition of "religion." If there aren't any central tenants or authority figures to the faith, it probably isn't a religion. Even the Discordians - one of the most chaotic "religions" out there - has central tenants (one being "all religions are false, including this one"), even if they don't take them seriously. Of course, coming from the ultra-liberal Harvard school, this comes as no surprise.
