Christ Centered Gamer

We've been invited to the International Missions Conference in Dallas Texas that's taking place from May 20-22 this year! They want us to prove that Christianity is not about boredom and asked us to enlighten their youth participants about opportunities and values in Christian games and video games in general. We'd love to answer the call, but need to secure plane, hotel, and rental car accommodations. Please pray that we can get funded to go if it's God's will for us to be there. Thanks!

How much will it cost to attend the Conference?

I'm still waiting to hear back details on if they need me there the whole time or just one day or whatnaot but if I need to be there the whole day I'm guessing $650 for airfare, hotel, and rental car

Sounds steep but I think with God's help you guys can find the money.

The gofundme has $50 raised so far which is good. Again I don't know how long I'll be needed there but if I'm not required to be there the whole time it'll be cheaper. This will be good experience and if we're in demand enough to do speaking engagements perhaps I'll be paid to go at future events. Then again I still have to figure out the details and see if there is any help from them coming. We'll see, we're still in the early stages and I'm seeking God's will and I figure if He wants there, the way will be paved for us.

Spoke a little bit more with the conference planner and they will discuss covering some of the expenses so we'll see how that goes. Saturday is probably the main day I'll be there so I revised the travel plans to arrive on Friday morning and check out the conference in the afternoon and leave Sunday morning. With tentative plans came to roughly $457 and round up to $500 for budget meals and we're $150 less than originally anticipated!
