Well, Good evening guys, Sky (not Skydoesminecraft) here, And this is really the first post other than "I agree". I am still new, so please tell me if I am or am not on the right forum topic. I would like to maybe make some books on the server once whitelisted, and on each one type out a chapter of the Bible on each book, then build a little "Library" kind of thing, so I can store them, and if someone wants a copy of a chapter or two they can make a book and quill of their own and just copy the book (putting a book and quill on a crafting table with a written book will duplicate the written book, all assuming the server is updated to 1.8 ). I cannot wait to make friends!

Two sounds like a interesting idea we do have shops in the survival spawn, maybe you can use one of those

I just wanted to add that sadly the server is not on 1.8 as of yet . It is on 1.7.10 (I believe)

It doesn't have the 1.8 features. Basically we're a bukkit server and bukkit is now defunct. If we were to run a newer server we'd have to redo everything and do without or find replacements for the grief detecting and swear filter plugins.

Yes and no, to have a map benefit from the new environments it would have to be re-created. However we have purposefully limited our current world to take that into consideration. If we went with a vanilla server it would not have the ability to limit the world size like we currently have.

IF we were to reset the map, we would make it downloadable so everyone could enjoy it in single player mode

As soon as I get on the server and build a house, I am going to open a boat rental dealership, (since I will be living on an island with friends). It is what I do on the xbox.
