While watching the Pixar movie "Up" a while back, this line stuck with me. For some reason, I had a phrase flash through my head when Dug, the dog, said that. "It's cute when Dug says it... but it would be incredibly creepy if a clown said the exact same thing."

For some odd reason, while washing dishes just now, this silly game popped into my head. Let's say you have a dog equipped with translator collars like in the movie. The dogs still act like dogs - the collars merely translate their actions and barks into human speech. So what would you expect a dog to say...

... that would be incredibly creepy if a clown said it?

Here are a few I came up with.

"I'm sorry I woke you up by licking your face."

"I was so excited to see you I piddled in the corner."

"STRANGER! THERE'S A STRANGER ACROSS THE STREET! STRANGER! STRANGER! STRANGER! ACROSS THE STREET! STRANGER!"

"I found it dead by the side of the road. I rolled in it because I thought it would make me smell better."

Do you have any others to add? That could be appropriate for the forums, of course....

OOOhh!!!! A new butt to sniff!

"I love bones!"

"I just love to sink my teeth into a pig ear!"

"Would you please let me in?" *whimper*
Alternately
"LET ME IN!! LET ME IN!!! OPEN THE DOOR!!"

"Don't worry about dropping crumbs or whole meals on the floor, I'll lick it clean!"

"Will you give me some of your food off your plate?"

"I need to go outside to poop."

"I want to go outside and bite the mailman."

And the creepiest one I could think of:

"Oh boy! You're gonna give me a bath!"

Those are pretty good!

"THERE'S SOMEONE AT THE DOOR OHMYGOODNESS COME QUICKLY I THINK THEY'RE GOING TO BREAK IN- oh, hey there owner's girlfriend. Didn't see you there"
