My cord has frayed on my
Turtle Beach X12's, not the best sound but they sure were comfortable
So... what do you use and do you recommend them?

I'm starting to look myself. A friend made me try a pair of
Bose QuietComfort 15, and I realized everything I listen to is terrible.
Circumaural headphones are where it's at for comfort. Fidelity was great and noise cancellation was really good.
I was considering these:

Seemed like a really good deal, and they got reviews. Still haven't determined if I want them to be wireless or not, though.

I use and have used for a few years now turtle Beach PX21's. I love the sound and they have a very crisp mic. Also for the price you can beat them in my Opinion. The price is why I chose this headset. They also can be used cross platform which is a nice touch if you like to play Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. God Bless!

I know your pocket hurts just hearing the word Sennheiser... But I've been in love with my
Sennheiser PX 360's for about nine months now. They're superb. Absolutely stellar sound quality for listening to music, and they're quadraphonic, which is always nice while gaming. I would advise pairing them up with a desk mic like a
Blue Snowball instead of using a mic arm.
These two in conjunction have been the dynamic duo for me. Love it.
