Along with Xbox Live not downloading and my Wireless Adapter totally not registering for me, i get Skyrim to freeze too! Oh joy!

Every time i press start to go onto the menu at the start, it goes into it's little 'Loading downloadable content, please wait...' thing, but it freezes right there, and doesn't move at all. I think Technology is out to get me.

Any ideas on what i should be doing?

I could but that means spending more money on another version of the same game that i do not know how to play.
As well, our computer has terrible memory so i doubt that it could handle all the new stuff without blowing to bits. As well, I payed 55 dollars for my current version and i wish to get my money's worth.
