Life stinks.

The bank account is in the negatives. Again.
The car died tonight and doesn't want to start up again. Fortunately, it died just outside our driveway. But my eldest daughter has a program at church tomorrow, and I have a meeting to go to as well.
And now my son took a tumble and ended up getting a big cut on the back of his head. So my wife and him (and one of our neighbor/friends) have hauled him to the hospital (about 45 minutes away from where we live) to get him checked out. I'm here with the girls and wondering where in the world to go from here.
I really have no idea where to go from here. Seems like everything is piling up at the same time, and I don't know how to handle it. Any prayers for guidance and strength - or even some sort of miracle - would be appreciated.
... help?

Aww, that's a huge bummer.
I don't have any advice, but I'll definitely be praying.

I'm sorry

When it rains, it pours, eh?
As for your car, when you try to start it, what happens? Electronics come on? Does the engine turn but not catch? Do you hear clicking? What do you hear?
I don't know how well we can diagnosis this (I say we, but I mostly mean Arctic), but I figure it's worth a shot, if it can help you out.

The car's problem is a bad battery clamp. Fortunately, that isn't a terribly expensive fix, and one I might actually be able to do myself (I had a couple of guys from church who really know their way around cars look at it after I managed to get it started again, and basically confirm this). So that's a relief. I even picked up the parts yesterday. Now I just need to find the time to do it....
As for my son's head, he was still lucid and chipper all the way to the hospital. Thanks to my wife's skill and knowledge, she managed to get the bleeding to stop nearly instantly (she knows so much I keep urging her to get her license to be an herbalist), which meant that the doctors could use some sort of glue stitches. The only time he raised a fuss at the hospital was when it was time to go home and they took the iPad away. Yes, even at age 3, he's a gamer at heart.
It's just frustrating when all sorts of things seem to happen at once. Especially at times when my confidence seems to be a bit lagging, anyway (I often feel like I can't do enough to provide for my family, and it gets worse at different times of the year). I just need to learn how to tough it out, rely on God more, and roll with the punches.
Thanks for the prayers, everyone! Hopefully things will continue to improve from here on out....

Glad the car fix is minor and that your son's injuries were treated easily. Praying for strength, finances and wisdom.

Amen. Glad God provided but I will keep praying. Have you ever heard of the band downhere? Their song protest to praise might be a good listen for you right now. It usually makes me feel better:)
