Prayers are needed for my pastor. We got a call this morning telling us that my pastor's wife passed away in her sleep last night. We are all very shocked, as it was very unexpected. Her age was mid-seventies.

Please also pray for my church, as we do not know how this will effect our pastor's decision to stay and continue his job.

Thanks guys. As an update, my pastor has decided to keep working with our church, and is actually doing pretty well.

I was incorrect about the age of his wife; she was only 67.

My pastor is 72. After his wife's death, he aged. A LOT. He looks tired, and at some times, sick.

Prayers would still be appreciated for his health.

I pray that Jesus will lift up your pastor in his time of mourning, and that he may be reminded that she is not gone but finally home. Amen.
