I am too attached to Kingdom Hearts to want anything other than PS4 >_> <_<

But yeah, thoughts? The wii u has been out for a while but I included it here. I can't see ever getting one......................

You might want to remove PC as an option.

I say this because I think of PC's as less punctuated and defined by generations. And you can already own a PC, unlike the other systems. The PC has also been a way out of buying home consoles, like a 360, because the games I wanted on it were already on the PC and I could just plug in a 360 controller. I also think PC is too much of an easy answer, when the more interesting discussion is in whether people will buy something that they don't already own (now watch everyone derail this thread talking about whether PC is a legit option or not ).

I want to say Wii U, its going to be the cheapest system, there's no chance it will have DRM on it and the games from the Wii were the most to my tastes (alot of platformers), without them being already on the PC, so I assume the Wii U will follow suit. Though its terrible launch hasn't made things easy for me, along with its lack of really dynamic titles (in my opinion). But this is pretty much why I wait a year or two before getting most systems-- hardware gets ironed out, things get cheaper and the better games come out.

Exclusives catching my attention:
Wii U -- Sonic: Lost World, Lego: City Undercover
PS4 -- Knack
Xbox One -- Ryse, the controller

Already own a Wii U so I voted for that, but I'd like to get a PS4 too

I'd love to get a PS4 but considering I just got a PS3 last year it just might be awhile...

My "next-gen" purchase will probably be a new processor, motherboard and some of that DDR4 RAM.

I'm considering buyin' a PS4, but I have to do some heavy saving.


I'm also considering getting a Wii U next year. You know, the new Super Smash Bros. And The Wonderful 101. And Sonic: Lost World. And other awesome titles.

As PS4 games, I would want:

Kingdom Hearts 3

Final Fantasy XIV

Watch Dogs

Destiny

And some others.

Console-wise, it would be a toss-up between the Wii U and the PS4.

But I'd be getting a new computer before either one of those options. That takes precedence. And not just for gaming purposes.

If I get a next gen console, It'd likely be the Wii U. I'm actually considering an Ouya though, as that seems pretty fun.

It's a toss-up for me between upgrading my aging gaming PC and a PS4.


But regardless of what I choose, it will be quite some time from now XD

There's that, too. XD Unless there's a price drop and I find a Wii U under the Christmas tree, I'm not likely to see one for some time.

Ouya ain't that bad, though.
